^{Hi again! In case you're curious...}

I was born in a small Massachusetts town... ok, flash forward.

I loved to write stories.

To transform the hummingbird ideas in my head into the world (aka my bedroom).

Onto high school. Favorite subjects: English and art.

Next stop: New Haven for my BA in English & Theater.

Then onto (not-so-sunny) California for my MFA in Writing from the University of San Francisco. That fog!

I kept writing. Fiction and non-fiction awards/publications followed.

I wrote print/digital content for Bay Area startups then joined Old Navy as a copywriter, advancing to digital copy manager.

Oh, and the pic up there? Nothing copy-related about it.

That's Lil P... diva, fur baby, inspiration. She's a Shih Tzu rescue who went from the streets of LA to a San Francisco shelter to me.
