I was born in a small Massachusetts town... ok, flash forward.

I loved to write. To transform the hummingbird ideas in my head into the world (aka my bedroom).

Onto high school. Favorite subjects: English and art.

Next stop: New Haven (BA in English & Theater).

Onto not-so-sunny California (MFA in Writing from the University of San Francisco). That fog!

Fiction and non-fiction awards/publications followed. 

Alongside my personal writing life, my roles in product and marketing copywriting have provided the opportunity to work on projects with teams who care deeply about craft, clarity, and connection.

Whether I’m shaping a deeply personal story or collaborating with marketing partners, I’m always chasing the same thing: language that lands, connects, and lingers.

Oh, and the pic up there? 

That's Penelope (aka Lil P). Diva, fur baby, inspiration. She's a Shih Tzu rescue who went from the streets of LA to a San Francisco shelter to me.

... and yes, Lil P supervises every draft.
